The Budget Web Design Package
If you or your organisation wish to have an online presence, but can't afford to have it cost the earth, then perhaps my Budget Web Design Package might help.
Most businesses, charities and organisaitons find that a very simple website is the best option when starting out online. If the process is beneficial, they can then expand their site gradually and organically over time, as their audience grows.
The Budget Web Package is ideal for "testing the water", and would consist of three web pages:
- A Main Page;
- An About Us Page;
- A Contact Us page.
I find that in most cases, these three pages are enough to communicate all the essential information a visitor could need.
The design will revolve around simplicity. Having minimal graphics, it will be generally text-based. But it will be artfully done, and elegant. If you are a charity, it could also have a facility for accepting online donations.
The design and installation would cost a one-off fee of £75. Buying a domain name would be approximately £8.50 per year.
Hosting the web site (with a typical UK web hosting company) would normally cost an additional £10 per month. However, as a web designer (who purchases quite a lot of hosting accounts), I can provide this at a more reasonable £50 per year.
